Fall is almost here and I am extremely excited. I’m sure I’ve mentioned it before on how Fall is my most favorite season. It’s definitely my most favorite time of year besides Christmas.
If you are like me and think that fabric pumpkins are really cute then you are going to want to see today’s video tutorial. I am going to show you how to easily make a fabric pumpkin out of an upcycled thrift store sweater.
The best part about these fabric pumpkins is that you can make them any color you want depending on the color sweater you find. They can be embellished with so many items from sticks, ribbon, raffia, flowers, and even broaches. Go crazy and make it your style.
Since I’m going for the farmhouse style in my home decor, I found neutral sweaters from my local thrift store. I paired the off white sweater with jute cording, neutral scrap ribbon and a stick from my yard as the stem. I just love how they turned out.
Watch below on how to turn and old sweater into fabric pumpkins.
