In today’s video tutorial I am showing you how to make salt dough ornaments 3 different ways.  This is the perfect Christmas craft for kids.

They are really easy and cheap to make.  You can make any design that your imagination can think of and you can leave them natural or you can decorate them with paint or embellishments.

For all of the ornaments, I used the below recipe and I baked them in the oven at 200 degrees fahrenheit for 2-3 hours.  This recipe will make quite a few ornaments, so if you only want to make a few then I suggest cutting the recipe in half. Salt Dough Recipe (Can be halved)
2 cups flour
1 cup salt
1 cup water

The first one in the video is the initial/monogram salt dough ornament.  I really love how this one turned out and I love that you can make these ornaments as personal as you want.

White Acrylic Paint
Paint Brush or Foam Brush
Gold Glitter
Twine
Dowel Rod or Tooth Pick
Letter Stamp

How pretty is this snowflake salt dough ornament? It’s so simple but I love the sparkle from the silver glitter.
